You've Found Lori's Semi-Clandestine "Win Free Ice Cream" Page!
As Lori tends towards the very serious (professionally) detail-oriented, hawk-eyed end of the personality spectrum, she appreciates knowing both that her website is as error free as humanly possible AND that there are plenty of folks with similar traits running around out there.
As such, if you are the first person to find and report a website error (user controlled or host controlled, either way) including but not limited to:
Broken Links
Misdirected Links
Spelling Errors
Content Errors
Syntax Errors
Misquoted factual data or references (actually I'll give you TWO coupons for one of these since IF there is any, I suspect that if I didn't spot it, it will be really difficult to find).
...then you will get promptly mailed to you a coupon for one FREE ice cream cone from our very own HOT LICKS home-made ice cream.
In all fairness, it should be noted for those of you new to or just visiting Fairbanks & North Pole that Hot Licks is a seasonal business and only open from roughly May - September. But trust me, it's worth the wait.
The only fine print exception to this is: were this site to come under malicious attack by parties bent on chaos, then the free cone offer would be suspended temporarily (for obvious reasons)...like THAT's going to happen.
Here's how to get your free cone(s):
- Find an error (remember you have to be the first one to report it, don't worry I'll be honest about fessing up that you're the first); Please note: the issue of pull-down menus extending past the bottom of the screen and the screen not scrolling as you try to roll down is currently being worked on by Lori and the Website provider, but nice try!
- Email Lori at webtech@lookwithlori.com (it's helpful but not necessary to put WEBSITE BUG in the subject line) with the page, location and description of the error. The date of your email will be registered as the discovery date, so don't delay!
- Don't forget your mailing address*. Name optional, but something to put on the envelope would be nice to help ensure you get your just desserts (ha ha).
