Our Town Introduction
Future Neighborhood Tour Menu Status: as of May 09, there are currently NO Neighborhood tours posted. (so don't get annoyed if you click around, I left the navigation in place so that folks could see what was in the works!)
Welcome to Our Town!
In addition to a regularly growing list of local resources (see submenus under our-town) another insanely lofty goal of this website is to provide an actual 'driving tour' sampling of some representative neighborhoods. (Using Google street view via the Google Maps address search website is a good start in some parts of town that are "in-town", but we have LOTS of areas that may NEVER get uploaded into this nifty service).
And street view has a strange tendancy here to only show non-winter views....hmmmm.
It must be said that of all the development projects related to this website, the area tours is the most expensive and time consuming--and as such it will likely be several months (from the website launch in late May 2009) before it is up and running in any useful capacity.
