2+bdr, 1+ba, 800+sf, home/duplex or condo... Fairbanks, North Pole Home

Teresa is hot on the trail of a home to call her own near to or in-town Fairbanks (no North Pole, please).  She's flexible on style of home, & will initially be looking for either a Single Family Home or Duplex (this would include homes with small mother-in-law apartments) as well as a Condominium/Zero Lot Line in town. 

Teresa is more interested in a good space that is well designed rather than dictating a particular size of home, but at least 800+ SF of living space will be an absolute necessity.  Open, well-lit spaces are a big plus.

Since her preference tends to be for a bit of privacy, if the home is in-town, then something with a fair lot size (at least 7000SF) & trees or other vegetation is what she'll be leaning towards (so probably not right downtown since those lots are smaller). 

Cooking and entertaining friends--and an open kitchen and living space to accomodate them--is of high importance, as is having a 3rd den/office or loft (in addition to 2 bedroom) that can be used as a small music studio (no special requirements for this area, except that it be seperate from other areas by closing a bedroom or officedoor, or in a visually separate area of the home, like a loft or family room.

If looking at condominium candidates, she'll be staying under the $200,000 mark, *but* for a superior condition home with views/excellent floor plan, more desirable characteristics such as a minimum 1 car garage, rural location with quick commute to town, and high ceiling..she'll be looking all the way up to $275,000.
